Your Second Visit to Our Woodbury Practice

Dr. Levy, Woodbury Chiropractor

After we study your health history, gather your diagnostic testing and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. Dr. Levy will answer any questions you may have to help you fully understand your problem and our staff will explain all insurance and third party responsibility and your financial obligation before starting any type of treatment. We recommend another family member come with you to this visit.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. It just depends on your unique situation. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to refer you for or gather diagnostic testing results and/or get records from other physicians and correlate our examination findings.

Dr. Steve Asks some important questions of interest to Woodbury residents - Chiropractor Woodbury Dr. Steve Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Woodbury chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
