Your Second Visit to Woodbury Chiropractic Center

Dr. Levy, Waterbury Chiropractor

On your report visit Dr. Levy will explain his findings and how he may be able to help you. After we study your health history, gather all diagnostic testing and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

Report of Findings

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. It just depends on your unique situation.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives Dr. Levy and our staff time to refer you, gather diagnostic testing results, and/or get records from other physicians and correlate our examination findings.

Dr. Levy will answer any questions you may have to help fully understand your problem and our staff will explain all insurance and third party responsibility and your financial obligation before starting any type of treatment.

You will be given a written report with an outline for care and the goals and objectives you expect to reach. We also recommend another family member come with you to your second visit.

Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, some patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length. A typical office visit at Woodbury Chiropractic Center is usually less than 30 minutes (depending on the severity of your condition and when and if any physical therapy is necessary). Decompression visits take up to one hour.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. If you miss a visit you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable, so we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. Steve Asks some important questions of interest to Waterbury residents - Chiropractor Waterbury Dr. Steve Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
