Your First Visit to Our Woodbury Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking both in front of and behind our handicapped accessible office. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and if you like, given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, after doing so we’ll continue your health history and gather any insurance information so we can verify your coverage.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. Diagnostic testing if necessary, (ie. X-Rays, MRI's CT scans) will be ordered at that time, or if you've had recent testing we will send for those records from your Doctor or Hospital. We only accept patients whom we feel will benefit from conservative care. If yours is not a chiropratic case, you will be referred to the appropriate physician.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Steve Asks some important questions of interest to Woodbury residents - Chiropractor Woodbury Dr. Steve Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Woodbury chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
